for Electrophoresis - Choju Gel

  • Electrophoresis from DNA(nucleic acid) to Protein are achieved.
Selection of Gel
In case of the sample to be analyzed is in a certain fixed range, or molecular weight of the sample is in similar range, use Uniform Gel. When the sample to be analyzed is of molecular weight in wide range, Gradient Gel is recommendable.
Features
  • Without using neurotoxic acrylamide monomer, electrophoresis analysis can be performed by using this Gel.
  • The life of Gel can be guaranteed for 12 months(365 days) in cold storage(+4ºC) condition.
  • The size is for 100×100mm glass plate, and it can be used for most of electrophoresis bath.
  • By adding SDS with electrophoresis buffer, it is used for SDS PAGE.

Operation of Electrophoresis Analysis
  1. Pour electrophoresis buffer till +(plus) Electrode is immersed.
    Protein: Use the buffer with SDS.
    Nuclein acdi(DNA): Use the buffer without SDS.
  2. Set up Gel plate in electrophoresis bath, then revove air bubbles remained at the bottom of Gel by leaning the electrophresis bath.
  3. Fill buffer till the top of Gel plate.
  4. Pour sample for analysis into well.
  5. Electrophresis transmittance condition: 20mA/plate Approx. 70 min.
  6. Dyeing liquid: CBB dyeing or Ag dyeing liquid.

Preparation of Electrophoresis Buffer
25mMol Tris, 192mMol Glycine, 0.1%
SDS Tris 9.08g
Glycine 43.23g
SDS 3.00g Fill up to totally 3 Litre with distilled water.
